Flowers at The Good Shepherd

Sign up to sponsor the flower arrangement on a Sunday

We would like to invite you to sponsor the flowers in the church on a Sunday – perhaps to mark a special occasion such as an anniversary or birthday, or in memory of a loved one.

At the Good Shepherd, our weekly flower arrangement is at the lecturn – a large pedestal arrangement specifically for the Sunday, which is usually dismantled after the service and distributed amongst the congregation. It’s usual to spend £25 – £50 on flowers for this arrangement. Catrin Cox organises all our flower arrangements – purchasing and preparing the flowers and cutting the greenery, as well as creating the display. We are very grateful to Catrin and her team for the beautiful arrangements in the church.

If you would like to sponsor the flowers one Sunday, please contact Fiona in the Church office (tel: 020 8318 5809, or email:  A notice will be displayed in the church to indicate who has sponsored the flowers and the occasion. If you would prefer not to be mentioned as the sponsor, please let Fiona know. We can make a note of special requests for flowers/colours, but these cannot be guaranteed.

A suggested donation of £25 – £50 at the time of the request would be very much appreciated (or 2 weeks before the date at the latest). Donations are preferred online (with the reference Flowers and the date required eg ‘Flowers10July), to the following bank account:

Account Name: P C C Of The Church Of The Good Shepherd And St Peter Lee (caps and spacing as shown)

Sort Code:                         20-49-81

Account No:                      90659096

(please note this is a business account)

If a bank transfer isn’t possible, cash can be received at the Church Office.

If you would like to contribute to the floral arrangements at The Good Shepherd, but do not wish to sponsor a particular Sunday, we are always very grateful for donations towards the general flower fund which is used to purchase flowers on our special days. Please use the reference ‘flower fund’ when donating to this online.

Thank you!
