In the Spring we are looking to set up a Working Party of 4 to 6 or more people
to care for the area around St Peter’s.
If you think you could help, please contact office@goodpeter.org.uk or speak

Should Christians celebrate Halloween? All Hallow Should Christians celebrate Halloween?

All Hallows eve/Halloween is part of the 3 day Christian festival, which we celebrate in the Anglican tradition. Tonight is All Hallows, tomorrow is All Saints and Monday is All souls we remember those who have died, those who where faithful, those who have been considered saints and we mark the days. At the Good shepherd at 10.30 on Sunday 1st Nov we will think about Saints and at 3pm we will hold a memorial service for all those who wish to remember their loved ones who have died but we hope to meet in glory.

So maybe you don't like the ghost and ghouls of Halloween and it can be scary but the joy of dressing up like a dinosaur and giving sweets to excited children can be an act of brining radical joy, in a world that sometimes feels joyless.
how Christlike is brining joy to those who feel lost?
